Uptime and SSL
HTTP and HTTPS checks with keyword matching and custom requests. The certificate is read on the same check, so expiry and chain problems show up next to the response time.

Cron and heartbeat tasks
Each task gets a ping URL. Your job calls it when it finishes; Peil alerts when a ping is later than the schedule plus its grace time.

Domain and WHOIS expiry
Registration dates are read from WHOIS and tracked per domain. You hear about a renewal at 30 days and again at 7.

Status pages
A public page per project, fed by the same checks. Incidents and maintenance windows appear on it, and visitors can subscribe to updates.

Team access and audit log
Roles are scoped per project, and API keys belong to a project too. Every change is written to a hash-chained audit log you can verify.

A failing check is retried from a second region before the monitor changes state. Only a confirmed failure opens an incident and sends a notification, so a single bad route does not wake anyone up.
From several regions, currently Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Washington and Singapore. You choose which regions each monitor uses.
